GENTEN Sustainable Cutwork Tote Bag (Large)
This time, we changed the standard square cutwork pattern to a regular diamond shape. ``Sustainable cutwork'' has a beautiful appearance reminiscent of crafts and functionality.
Extracting bag parts from each piece of leather with different shapes and using up all the leather is a very difficult task, but at genten, we have devised detailed parts to bring the number of bag patterns, which usually consist of around 10, to around 50. We worked hard to cut the leather to every corner as much as possible.
Genten's standard Minerva box leather is carefully sewn one by one, with a flower pattern cut out for each part, the edge polished, and baked. We create a sense of craftsmanship and quality by finishing without sparing any time and effort. The ``cut'' method creates a clean cross section of the leather that highlights its sophistication. It also has a unique circular knit structure that brings out its softness.
The beautiful curves from the main body to the handle make it easy to put it on your shoulder or elbow, and the insertion function at the mouth also gives it an elegant look that doesn't rely on metal fittings. It is lined so you can use it with confidence. Each piece of stored leather has a slightly different expression and color.
The bag changes over time, and the more you use it, the more it becomes a one-of-a-kind bag. This is an environmentally friendly series that is not only enjoyable to hold, but also enjoyable to look at, and provides a sense of calm and peace to those who own it.
