Kioski Solmu Ostjakki Knitted Vest 50cm
The Solmu knitted vest is made of a cotton blend, and it has a relaxed, straight fit. The vest features the jacquard knit Ostjakki pattern, and it has the embroidered Marimekko logo in the front near the left hemline. The vest has a V-neck, a button closure, double ribbing at the sleeve openings, and a wide rib at the hemline.
This product contains 92% organic cotton.
Fujiwo Ishimoto’s Ostjakki (Khanty) check pattern was originally part of a collection entitled Iso karhu (Ursa Major), which was inspired, among others, by textiles patterned using the traditional ikat dyeing technique.
