The Pieni Unikko pattern is featured on this runner, which is made of a blend of unbleached cotton and linen. The Pieni Unikko pattern is printed in Helsinki.
This product contains 33% linen. The cotton used in this product is 46% recycled cotton. Fabrics containing recycled fibers as well as unbleached fabrics, have a natural lively color and surface where small different colored areas may appear. There may be differences between products regarding this feature.
Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
