
ANTEPRIMA X Mika Ninagawa : A limited edition of “WIREBAG ART”
The ANTEPRIMA × Mika Ninagawa WIREBAG Collection is a special edition collaborated with Mika Ninagawa of 200 pieces globally.

Inspired by the art of Mika Ninagawa, a photographer, film director, and contemporary artist, ANTEPRIMA has crafted six meticulously designed "WIREBAG Art" pieces. A limited quantity of 200 pieces are globally launched on 25th June. The brand’s signature WIREBAGs serve as canvases adorned with vibrant crystals, reflective suncatchers, butterflies, stars, hearts, eyes, and imitation gemstones. The dazzling STANDARD MINIATURA and LUCCHETTO II style WIREBAGs are wearable pieces of art, encapsulating the whimsical essence that art brings into everyday life, which aligns with ANTEPRIMA’s philosophy of "LOVE".

As part of ANTEPRIMA’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, the brand welcomes Mika Ninagawa, one of Japan’s most renowned artists, to present a special exhibition and collaboration items at the iconic concept store 10 Corso Como in Milan during Fuorisalone, and received a lot of positive feedback.
ABOUT Mika Ninagawa


Born in Tokyo, Mika Ninagawa is an award-winning photographer and film director whose creative expression transcends boundaries across photography, film, video, and spatial installations. Her work is characterized by vivid colors and a dynamic sense of life, capturing ephemeral moments that bridge light and shadow, life and death, fiction and reality.
As a member of the creative team "EiM," Ninagawa continuously seeks new forms of artistic expression. She has published over 120 photography books, received numerous awards including the Kimura Ihei Photography Award, and has held more than 150 solo exhibitions and 130 group exhibitions worldwide. Her major solo exhibition "Mika Ninagawa with EiM: Light Beyond, Shadow Within" at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art in 2025 attracted 250,000 visitors. Internationally, her works have been showcased in exhibitions such as "Tokyo: Art & Photography" at the Ashmolean Museum (2021-2022) and "MIKA NINAGAWA INTO FICTION / REALITY" at the Beijing Times Art Museum (2022).
Her directorial debut, "Sakuran" (2007), was officially selected for the 57th Berlin International Film Festival and the 31st Hong Kong International Film Festival. She has since directed acclaimed films such as "Helter Skelter" (2012), "Diner" (2019), and Netflix’s original series "FOLLOWERS" (2020), consistently pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.
