There is a 3mm gap at the tip of the ring, so the inner diameter has some play, and the two sizes are designed to accommodate a variety of sizes.

This is a product created when the oyster produces pearls within its body, and is a sign of authenticity, so please enjoy it as a unique feature of the pearl. We also hope that you understand that it is difficult to provide extremely rare and valuable pearls with no dimples at our pricing. Although there are some dimples, we select pearls with an emphasis on shine.
